If you live in Florida, the East Coast, or the Gulf Coast of the United States you need to be prepared for the worst. Odds can be very deceptive... just ask anyone who has lived through one of these monsters. The real issue for survivors is when you need supplies the most, they are often in short supply or nonexistent.
